Yes! Today I lost a half a pound. I consider this a great success as it was a tough week with it being New Year's. The Thursday before New Year's I went to lunch with friends and my salad had cheese on it. I left it on because they didn't have fat-free dressing and I needed some kind of flavor to get me through all that lettuce. Last Friday, (New Year's) I had two diet cranberry and vodka drinks plus a few bites of fat-free spinach dip that I had made and some low-fat buffalo chicken dip. My friends try to eat healthy as well and had brought veggies to dip with! Any little way you can "cut corners" and partake in the party without ruining your diet is a success. The only other area of "cheating" for me was putting a little bit of light parmesan cheese on my squash and zucchini that I put in the skillet with fat-free spray, pepper, and garlic. So, I wasn't as strict as I could've been which makes me happy with just a pound. LOL, other than walking my dogs for 40 minutes on New Year's I didn't work out at all. It's strange but when I work out I seem to gain. It may be muscle mass, I really don't care though, I'm not looking to gain muscle until I get rid of the baby weight. I'm back in my size 8 jeans which isn't size 0 like I was but it was just 3 months since I had a baby. Again, I think this is a huge positive! How did you do on New Year's? My husband cheated big time and still lost a half a pound - men are so lucky!
