Tonight we went to dinner and a movie with friends. It's always nice to have a friend who's pregnant and going through similar experiences as you are. My friend is 13 weeks pregnant right now so of course all four of us had a lot to talk about. I remember what it was like when we were nowhere near the baby train and friends who were pregnant would talk about it...my husband and I would be bored to tears. When you are not at this stage in life it's difficult to even relate to it. I was confident we weren't putting our friends to sleep because they had a lot of the same fears, concerns, and excitement as us. What was really nice is having someone to talk to about the weight gain that really understands. I'm not saying others don't but for some reason having someone experience it right when you are is comforting. Plus, she is "crazy" about being healthy and body image like me. LOL, she gets frustrated with just the little weight gain she has but in the same breath wants to gain more weight because it's reassurance the baby is growing! Funny thing is, she thinks/or should I say hopes? it will all go to her belly! Well, damn, maybe she has better genes than me because mine has went to my butt, thighs, arms, and stomach! But, still, just confiding in someone that is nervous about body image soothes me. The fact is, I need to be less concerned about numbers on a scale and sizes and more grateful that my baby appears to be healthy. I'm just going to keep having positive self-talk and maybe that will help me.

3/4 cup of Bran with 1/4 cup raisins
1 cup fat-free organic milk
Lunch -
whole wheat tortilla, 1/4 cup fat-free cheese, lettuce, and tomato
Fat-free yogurt
Snack -
Nectarine
Dinner -
DINED OUT
Grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato on a bun
Side salad with light balsamic
Snack -
1/3 cup frozen yogurt
